Bunbury City Council South West Sports Centre
Phase 1 Solar Re-diversion Project – Pool Side Amenities Hot Water System Upgrade:

Relocate 4 x existing Edwards hot water units and reuse 2. Keep remaining two as spares. Refer to drawings for specification
Install custom built Edson 1000 litre Duplex Heat Grade S/S pressure vessel.
Supply and install Grundfos CRI 15-1 50mm pump and serviceable WA Heat Exchanger plate heat exchanger connected to new Edson storage tank in preparation for Solar connection. Refer to drawings for specification.
Relocate 150mm stormwater main around new Edwards location.

Phase 2 Solar Re-diversion Project

Pool Side Amenities Solar Hot Water Heating System:
2 x 15 top rows of collectors are required (30 of total 150, being 20% of total heat energy) for the shower heating and are diverted by new thermostat controlled demand that activates 4 x 3 port valves and 1x 50mm Grundfos pump. Whilst amenities heating flow is diverted, 20% of total heat energy is disconnected from the lap pool heat exchanger. This system is designed with an overheat interlock being the original Edwards over temperature switch that will disable the circulating pump and 4 x 3 port valves that have fail safe spring returns that automatically returns solar heated flow back to normal lap pool flow pump circuit. (Note: Edwards thermostat set point to be 43°C, Solar set point 48°C and over temperature set at 50°C).

Phase 3 Solar Rediversion Project – Pool Side Spa Solar Hot Water System Pool Side Spa Solar Hot Water Heating System:

1 x 15 bottom row of existing collectors will be redirected as required by the existing BMS that operates at a spa set point of 36.4°C. When activated, 2 x 50mm 3 port valves located at existing roof top flow and return pipe system, 2 x 25mm 3 port valves located in Spa plant room (that disconnect boiler flow and returns) and 1 x 40mm Grundfos pump will divert all heat energy to the existing spa heat exchanger. Whilst spa heating flow is diverted 10% of total heat energy is disconnected from lap pool normal sola flow. When BMS set point is reached or new overtemp switch is activated, the circulating pump and 2 x 3 port valves that have fail safe spring returns automatically return solar heated flow back to lap pool flow pump circuit.
J & P Metals -Fire Protection Service Upgrades
Install new dual head hydrant riser located on southern side of building on Southeast crn with 10m clearance from building. Run 24mtrs of 125mm PN16 Red Stripe PE mains to existing 150mm fire valve located at front south eastern corner.
Install 200mm Fire Sluice Valve at location #17.
Install 250mm Fire Sluice Valve at location #13.
Install 150mm Fire Sluice Valve at location #8.
Install new dual head hydrant riser and 2 additional protection bollards to western side of Shed 8 on northern side. Cut up and remove hot mix and gravel. Excavate and lay 30mtrs of 125mm PN16 Red Stripe PE mains from new tee located on western side of valve at location #8, Backfill, compact and gravel to ground level.
Pressure testing of Shed 8 pressure piping, hydrants and Valve installation only.
Cristal Mining - Grinding Room Stormwater
Cut off 150mm x 100mm D/P & redirect 160mm S/W run thru roof to new in ground mains.
Run S/W mains from leach drain soak wells thru to 3 connection points with ground relief at soak well area.
Remove tree stumps & spoil and back fill with clean sand.
Dig and install 2 x 18m Leach Drains and 1 x 9m Leach Drain and back fill all.
Remove existing soak well.
Realign Air Conditioning Units and mount on concrete blocks.
Supply and spread Blue Metal around Grinding Room addition south and East sides.
Connect Grinding Machine stormwater outlets to sewerage leach drains.
Test Plant Building – Install 2 x 7mtr squareline colorbond gutter with 15mm fall from south to north with 100mm dwv outlet run to below 150mm stormwater main.
Increase width of proposed 2 x 18mtr leach drains to 3 x 18mtr leach drains to increase stormwater capacity by 33% to cater for additional roof area.
Install additional 2 x 7mtr squareline colorbond box gutter with 15mm of fall to northern 100mm PVC outlet on main lab western wall.
Install 1 x 7mtr squareline colorbond box gutter to northern lab on west side, fall 10mm to northern 100mm PVC outlet.
Install 35 x 170 long under flashings to drain short-sheeted roof for gutter listed above. This makes a total of 28mtrs.
Obtain excavation permit to trench 30mtrs of extra heavy duty 150 dwv stormwater mains from 2 new 100mm downpipes located on western side of main lab through carpark and terminate in shed stormwater spoon drain. Backfill and compact.

Bosch 32 Install & setup for 3 x wash hoses, 1x sink, 1x wall basin, 2 x pasteuriser.
